Last night, Rivr Lofts traded its usual midweek calm for twirls, smiles, and lots of “one-two-three… five-six-seven!” Our Sip & Salsa Night brought together 15+ neighbors from the community to learn, move, and laugh!
Step, Turn, Smile: Salsa 101 with Anthony
Huge shout-out to our resident instructor Anthony (@anthonyguiderafit) for leading a welcoming, beginner-friendly class. We started with single salsa steps to find our rhythm, then leveled up into paired partner work. Between careful breakdowns and lively demos, Anthony kept it fun, interactive, and confidence-boosting; even for first-timers.
Highlights:
- Easy-to-follow basics that had everyone moving in minutes
- Partner dancing to meet new neighbors (and new dance partners!)
- A supportive, joy-filled atmosphere where everyone could shine
After-Class Cheers & Cheer-On
After an hour of salsa-ing around, we cooled down together in the club room for a casual watch party of Dancing With The Stars, complete with complimentary beverages. The room buzzed with post-class happy energy!
